City Palace Jaipur
This is the former royal residence combining Rajasthani and Mughal styles. The palace has a museum with a superb collection of costumes and armoury of Rajputs and Mughals.
Umaid Bhawan Palace
Built of marble and pink sandstone, it was designed by the president of the British Royal Institute of architects for Maharaja Umaid Singh and took 15 years to build.
Founded atop the Trikuta Hill, this fort is 800 years old. Within its walls, defended by 99 turrets, lies the old city, nearly a quarter of modern Jaisalmer.
There are many palaces within the fort like Rana Kumbha Palace, Fateh Prakash Palace, Tower of Victory and Padmini's Palace, which are a must see for the tourists. Other spots worth visiting are the Bhimtal Tank, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Meera Temple, Kumbha Shyam Temple, and Kalika Mata Temple dating back to the 8th century.
Situated on a steep hill, Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in India. The fort has been a witness to the splendour of a bygone era. The Mehrangarh Fort encloses many palaces, which are known for their intricate carvings and sprawling courtyards.
Ranthambhor Fort - The fort is huge and covers an area of approximately 7 kilometers in circumference. It is one of the oldest forts in the country and is said to have been built in 944 AD a Chauhan warrior.
